2GIG-GB1E-345—Tamper Error

A tamper error occurs when the panel is reading that the sensor’s cover is not attached properly. To address the tamper error on your 2GIG-GB1E-345 glass break sensor, follow the instructions below.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Remove the sensor from the wall by pushing in and rotating counterclockwise to lift the sensor off.

2. Note that the two red levers are what reads the tamper.

3. To correctly close the sensor, locate the alignment marker on the sensor and the baseplate.

4. Line these markers up, push in, then rotate clockwise until the sensor snaps into place.
